OTTAWA–It used to be that if you were caught without your driver’s license, you’d have to go to court and show the judge your license before the ticket was dismissed. Now, however, Ottawa Police Chief Dennis Butler says the Kansas Legislature has made it easier. Now you can show your license to an officer at the Police Department, and the ticket will be dropped.
