OTTAWA — Neosho County Community College at Ottawa has established a memorial to the victims of Thursday’s mass shooting at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Ore. The Ottawa campus has a silent tribute in the rotunda to the faculty and students who died or were wounded. The tribute will be in the rotunda today and Wednesday. The public is invited to take part in the tribute and stop at the remembrance table to sign a card and to include a short message if they desire. All cards will be sent to Rita Cavin, the president of the Oregon school.
