OTTAWA — An Ottawa man was taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center after he rolled a pickup truck just east of Ottawa Monday afternoon. Matthew Manning, 31, was driving a pickup northeast on East 23rd Street a half-mile west of Montana Road when it ran off the road, the Kansas Highway Patrol said. He drove back on the road but over-corrected and the truck slid into the ditch and rolled over and went through a KDOT fence along I-35, the highway patrol said. He was wearing a seat belt.
