WASHINGTON — The Leonid meteor shower happens this week. The peak night of the shower is expected from midnight to dawn on Wednesday morning although the same time Tuesday morning should also be relatively good for viewing. This year’s aerial show will be more modest, about 10 to 15 meteors per hour. The meteors can be seen in most areas of the night sky.
