OTTAWA–The ECKAN Annual Fellowship Dinner was held at Ottawa High School, and one of the messages was give a helping hand, not a hand out. The featured speaker was Ottawa Mayor Mike Skidmore. He said most Americans are blessed beyond imagination compared to poverty-stricken countries such as India.
