OTTAWA — Franklin County has delayed its preparations for the next tax sale. However, the delay is come from an unlikely source — the city of Ottawa which normally pressures the county to speed up its schedule of tax sales. County counselor Derek Brown said the city is still working out legal issues concerning The Coves, a proposed housing development that ended up in bankruptcy. Once the city has resolve those issues, work on the tax sale will resume, he said.
