OTTAWA — The Franklin County Sheriff’s office received several theft reports prior to the weekend.  On Thursday, a 32-year-old Ottawa woman reported several checks were stolen from a mailbox in the 4400 block of Indiana Road near Centropolis.  A 30-year-old Pomona woman reported an electric drill and impact drill were stolen from her vehicle while it was parked in the 500 block of Truman Street in Pomona.  On Friday, a 82-year-old Ottawa man reported two rings stolen from his home in the 4200 block of Kentucky Terrace southeast of Centropolis. The loss was estimated at nearly $5,900.  On Saturday, a 62-year-old Missouri man reported a burglary and theft at property he owns in the 300 block of Jefferson Street in Pomona. The loss was estimated at more than $1,000.  A 65-year-old Wellsville man reported a 2016 Polaris Razor ATV and a 2006 Honda Rincon ATV were stolen from the 3800 block of Riley Road near LeLoup.  The Honda was later found and returned.  The estimated loss for the missing Razor is $20,000.   However, a 29-inch Road Master bike that was left at the jail approximately three weeks ago turned out to be stolen.  The bike is now in storage at the jail.
