OTTAWA — One person was hospitalized and both lanes of north-bound Princeton Street were closed after a car rear-ended a trash truck in the 1900 block of Princeton Road this morning. A car tried to pass another vehicle and went to the right and hit the truck, Ottawa Police Sgt. A.J. Smith. The driver of the car, who wasn’t immediately identified, was taken to Ransom Memorial Hospital. The driver and crew on the trash truck weren’t injured.
