OTTAWA — Sarah Anzicek is the new planner in the Ottawa CommunityDevelopment Department. Anzicek has worked as a planner for the engineering consultant firms of Gould Evans Associates, of Kansas City; Shafer, Kline and Warren, Lenexa; and for Kansas City, Mo. She also worked as grant writer and development coordinator for the Women’s Employment Network, of Kansas City. Anzicek’s planning experience in both the public and private sectors will make her a good addition to the department, said Wynndee Lee, community development directors. Anzicek will be responsible for zoning review for permits and site plan review coordination, as well as many other development planning processes. She received a certificate from the American Institute of Certified Planners in 2012.
