OTTAWA — Defense attorneys for Kyle Flack have renewed their motion to move his murder trial out of Franklin County. Most jurors know of the case and it’s not likely that Flack can receive a fair trial, defense attorney Tim Frieden said in his motion. However, Franklin County Attorney Stephen Hunting filed a counter motion that although jurors are familiar with the case, Frieden hasn’t proved that they can’t give Flack a fair hearing. Flack’s trial is scheduled to begin March 7. He’s accused of killing Kaylie Bailey, her 18-month-old daughter, Lana Bailey, Andrew Stout and Steven White three years ago at a farmstead near Richter.
