OTTAWA — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department is investigating thefts occurring over the weekend. A 72-year-old Pomona man reported Sunday morning that someone entered his detached garage in the 2700 block of California Road south of Pomona and stole a Winchester 12-gauge shotgun. The loss was estimated at $500. A 48-year-old Pomona man reported Sunday morning someone stole a Honda Spree moped was taken from his home in the 200 block of Monroe Street in Pomona. The loss was estimated at $300. An Ottawa man reported Saturday afternoon that someone stole his Cub Cadet lawnmower from his pole barn in the 4400 block of Montana Road north of Ottawa. The loss was estimated at $2,500.
