OTTAWA — The Franklin County Drug Enforcement Unit and the STAR Team raided three homes in the Ottawa area last week and arrested three people. Sheriff Jeff Richards said the raids were part of a series of recent drug busts. The Franklin County Drug Enforcement Unit has recently made several arrests as part of an on-going drug trafficking investigation. Search warrants were served at residences located on Texas Road out in the county, South Locust and South Ash in the city of Ottawa. During the searches detectives seized more than 30 grams of Methamphetamine, quantities of Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia and firearms, Richards said. The S.T.A.R. (Special Tactics And Rescue) team, comprised of members of the Sheriff’s Office and Ottawa Police Department, was used because of the possibility of suspects being armed, he said. to assist in serving search warrants as a part of this investigation. Among those booked so far: Jesse Steven Sage, 50, distribution of methamphetamine, distribution of marijuana, felony drug paraphernalia; Erica Marie Stack, 44, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia; Tyler Ian Sage, 21, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia; Richard Gene Stack, 24, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia; Nicole Marie Allen, 30, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and aggravated child endangerment; Joshua Steven Sage, 25, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug, and aggravated child endangerment; Travis Eugene Bishop, 30, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia; Brooke Danielle Phillips, 25, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia; Susan Gayle Swan, 54, distribution of methamphetamine within 1000 feet of a school, distribution of methamphetamine, using a communication device to facilitate drug sales, felony drug paraphernalia and no drug tax Stamp; and David Lee Asbery, 45, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. The Franklin County Drug Enforcement Unit is comprised of Detectives from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and the Ottawa Police Department.
