OTTAWA — A hearing for a 36-year-old Ottawa man charged in connection with a wild chase that ended with a crash into the side of a garage last month will be May 26 in Franklin County District Court. Toby Lee has been charged with theft, reckless driving and failure to stop at the scene of an accident. Ottawa police said Lee took a vehicle from the automotive business he worked at in the 100 block of North Main Street, tried to evade police, and crashed the vehicle in to a carriage-house-style apartment and garage in the alley behind the 700 block of South Cedar Street and fled on foot.
