OTTAWA — The log jam at the Prairie Spirit Trail bridge over the Marais des Cygnes River is coming unjammed, although a bit more slowly than most local officials would like. Ottawa City Commissioner Blake Jorgensen told his fellow commissioners Monday that he sees some progress and that the debris field is started to break up. City officials said they’ll continue watching the river closely as Pomona Lake continues to release large volumes of water into the river.
