OTTAWA — A pregnant woman close to her due date and her three children were rescued Friday morning as flood waters surrounded their home at 3325 Iowa Terrace west of Ottawa. Deputies from the Franklin County Sheriff’s office, firefighters from the Lincoln-Ottawa-Harrison Township Fire Department, emergency management officials and a boat provided by the Ottawa Fire Department responded to help retrieve them. The husband made the decision to stay in the home despite the threat of flooding, Alan Radcliffe, emergency management director, said. No one was injured.
