OLATHE — The north-bound and south-bound far left lanes of I-35 are closed for bridge reconstruction work at the I-435 interchange. The far-left lanes on I-35 will be closed through July 12, weather permitting. The closures are needed so crews can widen the two bridges to add an extra lane to carry traffic on east-bound and west-bound I-435 over I-35. North-bound and south-bound I-35 traffic will have two lanes open. Traffic will be directed through the work zone via cones and signage.
