OTTAWA — Ottawa police caught a 29-year-old Ottawa man who was wanted in a fight that sent two people to the hospital early Monday morning. Witnesses told police that Andrew Mayfield III fled the fight scene in the 100 block of South Elm Street carrying a pistol, setting off a manhunt. He was captured Tuesday afternoon without incident, Capt. Adam Weingartner said. Ottawa detectives and the Special Tactics and Response team combed the city and followed up leads and located him in a home the 200 block of East 12th. Kevin Elsasser, 32, and Christina Elssasser, 35, both of Ottawa, were injured in the fight and were taken to Ransom Memorial Hospital and treated, police said. Leah Maynard, 24, Ottawa, was taken into custody at the scene.
