BURLINGTON — The Kansas Bureau of Investigation and the Burlington Police Department cancelled this morning’s Amber Alert while in the process of issuing it. The KBI said the non-custodial father who took his two young children out of Burlington schools this morning was found in Topeka. Although he had threatened their mother that the children would be harmed, they were found with him and were safe.
