TOPEKA — The Kansas Dept. of Transportation has awarded bids for two projects in Franklin County. One involves overlaying nearly seven miles of K-68 between Nevada Terrace and K-33 east of Ottawa. Hamm Inc., Perry, received a $2.5 million contract for that work. The other project involves patching 43 miles of pavement on I-35 between the Coffey County line and a point just south of Wellsville. Realm Construction of Blue Springs, Mo., will receive nearly $2.4 million for the work.
