WICHITA — The Kansas Bureau of Investigation has cancelled the Amber Alert for a Wichita mother and her three young children after they were taken from their home at gunpoint at about 3. Melissa Gifford, 36; Madison and Aiden Ruiz, both 8; and Grayson Gifford, 2, who were taken at gunpoint by a man and a woman, have been found safe. Two suspects were arrested at a hotel and Wichita news media say a woman and three children were escorted from the hotel into a police vehicle. It wasn’t immediately known what the relationship was between the kidnappers and the family.
