OTTAWA — An Ottawa man who pleaded guilty to robbery in connection with a home invasion late last year will spend nearly three years behind bars. Jacob Kennedy was sentenced to 34 months in state prison. He will receive credit for 200 days he spent in the Franklin County jail this year. Kennedy was one of two men charged in the home invasion in eastern Ottawa in December. Two women received minor injuries in the incident. Two suspects were arrested after they crashed in a farm field during a police chase. Kennedy pleaded no contest to the robbery as part of a plea deal. A second man, Donivan Perryman, of Lawrence, will face a jury later this year.
