TOPEKA — The Kansas Supreme Court has agreed to extend a deadline for attorneys of convicted murderer Kyle Flack to submit motions for his appeal. The deadline has been moved to Nov. 16. Flack was sentenced to death last year for the 2013 murders of 21-year-old Kaylie Bailey and her 18-month-old daughter Lana; and convicted of first-degree murder for killing Steven White, 31; and second-degree murder for killing Andrew Stout, 30; at a farm house near Richter. Death-penalty cases are automatically appealed to the supreme court.
