OTTAWA – Short Stop is now Kicks 66. The new owner of the former Short Stop convenience stores owns 35 other gas stations and convenience stores in the area. Haag Oil Company recently purchased the store from Leisler Oil. Company vice-president Gary Haag said his company has known and worked with the store for many year, providing fuel for a previous owner of the store. One big change customers will notice is the new store will offer Hunt Brothers Pizza instead of Papa Johns, which was a franchise outlet inside the store.
