OTTAWA — A new event space, “The Bottle House,” is opening in Ottawa at Second and Walnut in the old Coca Cola bottling plant. Renovations have been going on for several months, including revealing the original Coca Cola signs on the building. The center will host everything from weddings to corporate functions to birthday parties and fundraising events, said event manager Melinda Heyn. There are plans for a bar, sound system and a catering kitchen. The facility will have a public soft opening at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
