OTTAWA – The Ottawa High School open house will be from 6-8:30 p.m. Sept 20. It will be a bit different this year as the traditional open house was pushed back because of the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new science wing and administrative wing at the school. This year it will be in conjunction with counselors’ night and be true “open house” style evening. The teachers will be available and tours will be given. Also, maps will be available to guide visitors through the building and to the right classrooms. Special seminars will also be available to students and parents involving financial aid for college and other topics, said high school principal David Morford.
