OTTAWA — Two trailers were reported stolen Wednesday. A 71-year-old Ottawa man reported his trailer was stolen from the 1500 block of South Hickory Street in Ottawa. A 79-year-old Princeton woman reported a home-made flatbed trailer was stolen from her property in the 1200 block of Indiana Terrace south of Homewood. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department said the loss was estimated at $2,000. A 39-year-old Ottawa man reported that someone stole a storage box containing chain saws, tools and other items from the bed of his pickup while it was parked in the west parking lot at West Franklin High School in Pomona. Corey Eubanks, 32, Centropolis; was detained in Pomona and later booked in connection with the theft, the sheriff’s office said. The storage box and all the items in it were returned.
