OTTAWA — It might have looked like a crash even though emergency crews looked. Deputies, firefighters and an ambulance were dispatched to a report of a crash on Old Highway 59 near new U.S. 59 north of Ottawa early this morning. The sheriff’s office said they searched for vehicles or debris but didn’t find anything in the area. They did, however, find some duck hunters with flashlights and that might have prompted the report.
