OTTAWA — Ottawa police say when an officer tried to pull over 31-year-old Thomas Martin of Ottawa in the 900 block of Bennett Road for having an expired tag Sunday night, he jumped out of vehicle and dashed into a house. The home wasn’t his castle and he was booked into jail for interference with a law enforcement officer, driving while suspended and for a Douglas County arrest warrant.
