OTTAWA — Entrepreneurship students at Ottawa High School have received three $1,000 grants from the Dairy Farmers of America to promote healthy food habits among students. One project is to encourage local farmers to grow and sell their produce to Ottawa schools’ lunch program, said Dane Hart, OHS senior. Other projects include making and selling healthy snacks by the high school’s culinary class and to be sold at OHS at mid-morning, and classes to teach students and their families how to create healthy meals on tight budgets.
