OTTAWA — Franklin County commissioners approved an agreement with Rural Water District 2 to move a water line south of Ottawa. Moving the water line is part of the county’s work to improve the roads into the new Proximity Park southeast of Ottawa, county administrator Derek Brown said. The county will pay the costs of moving the water line. The county and the city of Ottawa are jointly developing the industrial park southeast of Ottawa. Work has already started, with much of the work to kick into high gear next spring.
