OSAGE CITY — Two burglars who were caught red-handed are likely blue because they’re orange-suited. A woman called the Osage County Sheriff’s department after she saw two men carrying items from her out-buildings west of 215th Street and U.S. 56 north of Osage City. The two men fled through a field, said Sheriff Laurie Dunn. Osage City police stopped a vehicle with two men matching the description provided by the woman and detained them, she said. All of the items stolen except a bicycle from that and another burglary were recovered, Dunn said. Michael McGuire, 38, and Clinton Osborne, 25, both Osage City, were booked on suspicion of burglary, theft and felons possessing firearms.
