KANSAS CITY — Two men suing the West Franklin USD 287 school district in federal court have dismissed members of the school board from the suit. Gene Hirt and Eric Clark, who sued the school district after Hirt was banned from school property following a dispute with school officials, have filed court papers dismissing individual school board members from the suit. However, the lawsuit remains against West Franklin School Supt. Jerry Turner and the school district. No hearing date has been set.
