OTTAWA — Five people were left homeless when their home caught fire early Friday morning. No one was injured by the fire at 926 S. Locust, Ottawa Fire Chief Tim Mathias said. The fire was likely caused by an electrical problem, he said. The Red Cross was helping the people with temporary lodging, food and clothing. Mathias estimated the damage at about $9,000.
