It has been a vision of Ottawa city officials for years to see more development in the south part of Ottawa, especially in the I-35 vicinity. Community Development Director Wyndee Lee says proximity is the main catalyst for development.
Lee was discussing South Ottawa development during the regular Planning Commision Study Session.
