Republican State Senator Steve Fitzgerald is running for the Second Congressional Seat in the United States Congress. He says there are many good Republicans running but he is greatly concerned about one candidate who is pumping a lot of money into the campaign. Steve Watkins is running for the same seat. Fitzgerald says that’s not good.
The Topeka Capital Journal confirms that Watkins has only voted one time, in 2017 in a city election, the same day he filed to run for Congress. Fitzgerald says his experience in the business world and in the State Senate males him the wise choice for the United States Senate.
