The primary election is shaping up to be one of the most voted in non-presidential primaries ever in Kansas. Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach says advanced voting numbers are way up.
More voter have registered than usual at this point also. Just over 1.8 million Kansans are registered to vote.
