The Franklin County Commission is considering how to use some accumulated Transient Guest Tax Funds paid by motel guests and others. County Administrator Derek Brown says there’s a fairly large amount of money on hand.
The Commission is considering doing some renovations to the old courthouse and the historical society with the tax. No decisions have yet been made but the Commission is expected to continue discussing the matter in upcoming meetings.
