As school prepares to get back into session this week, school officials have an eye on the statehouse to see who may become governor. Mark Tallman of the Kansas Association of School Boards says that even though Governor Colyer signed the latest school finance bill, he didn’t get to set the dollar amounts.
He does think Colyer would continue to support education, but does not want to raise taxes.
