Anderson County Sheriff Vern Valentine is cautioning parents to be aware of a dangerous game some teens are playing in their vehicles. He referred to a video on YouTube about the Keke Challenge. The challenge involves a person stepping out of a moving car and attempting to do a dance move while keeping up with the pace of the moving vehicle.
He says it is important for parents to research this and speak to your kids as it is very dangerous and could result in serious injury. According to Valentine, three kids attempted to do this recently in Anderson County and failed, resulting in injuries. He says this type of action could actually result in criminal charges as it falls under the Kansas Law of endangering a child. The incident in Anderson County is still under investigation.
