A 26-year-old Pomona man was injured in an accident recently. Gunner Thompson was traveling eastbound in the 2200 block of Osborne Terrace on a Suzuki ATV when he struck a dog that entered the roadway and he was thrown from the vehicle. He was transported to Overland Park Regional Hospital for his injuries. According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Thompson was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.
