A fascination with butterflies has come full circle, resulting in a giant butterfly painting on the side of a building at 415 B South Main in Ottawa. The mural was painted by Artist Dave Loewenstein. Loewenstein was a friend of Ottawa Butterfly Artist William H. Howe, who loved butterflies as a child.
As the mural is appropriately enough entitled “Giant Swallowtails.” About 50 people showed up for the dedication.
