The Onward Ottawa project development is nice to think about, but will it stay nice? That seemed to be the question that Franklin County Commissioner Richard Oglesby posed during a study session Monday, during which officials of the project made a presentation. Oglesby says letting the City of Ottawa be responsible for maintaining the facility is an uncertain affair.
Officials of the project say structures on Legacy Square will be designed to take minimal maintenance, so hopefully, there won’t be any issues of upkeep of the property. Groundbreaking of the project is scheduled for early next year.
