The Ottawa City Commission is expected to approve applying for a transportation grant at its first meeting in September. Community Development Director Wyndee Lee says it would be aimed at improving access to northern Ottawa.
Lee says several studies would not determine the best routes to build. If all goes well, actual construction would not occur until 2020.
