Want to adopt a horse? That might be possible in the near future due to an incident in which the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office seized dozens of horses there were not being properly cared for. Sheriff Jeff Richards says his office now technically owns the horses.
Richards says there are about 55 horses he is looking to place with new homes.
