With the announcement that the Ransom Memorial Health was partnering with Adventist Health Systems, CEO Matt Heine was asked why the partnership was needed and why they picked now as the time to propose the affiliation.
He also cited other small hospitals around our area that have had to close in recent years. The partnership with Adventist will provide our local hospital with resources that otherwise would not be available, such as new facilities, access to additional doctors, and allow for continually improving health care for the community.
