Another long-time City of Ottawa employee officially called it quits during the regular City Commission meeting. Finance Director Scott Bird is retiring after 37 years of service to the city in various roles. Bird says his final message id simply thank you.
Bird was given a walking stick as a going away gift instead of the usual plaque.
