The rains that hammered Anderson County on Friday leading to flash flood warnings caused multiple issues in the county, including a potential water reuse. Firefighters from Greeley, Granet, and Colony responded to a report of a vehicle submerged by flood waters near Greeley. Trained water rescue personnel from the Colony station responded and were able to search the vehicle and secure it. No one was in the Vehicle. The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office was able to locate the owner and confirm there were no occupants. Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks as well as Anderson County EMS were also on the scene.
