We have an update on the accident involving an Ottawa Police officer Monday morning at 15th and Willow. The officer is taking a few days off work to recover from minor injuries received in the wreck. The officer was traveling east on 15th when the driver of the other car pulled out in front of the officer’s car. According to Assistant Police Cheif Adam Weingartner, the driver of the other vehicle was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign. None of the occupants of the other vehicle were injured and all were wearing their seatbelts.
