The City of Wellsville is in somewhat of a tangle over complaints of junk scattered around a property at 113 East Fifth Street. Jim Stonequist is the property owner, and he is appealing to the city council several violations cited by City Inspector Jerry Mallory. At the regular city council meeting, Stonequist and Mallory had a brief but heated discussion, with Stonequist telling about meeting with Mallory.
The city council tabled the Matter until Wednesday, September 26. Stonequist indicated he may hire a lawyer to come with him to the next city council meeting.
