The Ottawa City Commission is expected to take an important step towards stormwater improvements on Ash Street and 15th Street when it meets in regular session tomorrow night and will likely accept bids. Public Works Director Michael Haeffele says the materials used in the pipes determines the price.
City Manager Richard Nienstedt says the original financing was estimated to be about two million dollars, but the lower bids may lower that to about 1.6 million dollars.
